Shamless Plug. Though I have my own opinions about downloading music I do believe in supporting my favorite artists directly. For those of you who are interested - Howard Jones has just released a new studio album. In my opinion, I would say that its a nod to Human's Lib with a touch of Electronica sensibility. You can find it at your local music store, Amazon.com or better yet - give Howard a bigger slice of the pie and get it directly from his DTox Label. Try it - you'll like it.

"You just don't fit in..." My wife has never been a good fit in the corporate world. She's has always had a different muse whispering in her ear, beckoning... calling. Karen is more of a "big picture" type of person and as any good creatively driven human being has always known that she wouldn't be totally happy until she was soaring under the power of her own wings. That time has finally come. Like many things in our lives some things manage to work out as if they were meant to be. No real fanfare just a quiet feeling inside telling you that no matter what it took to get you there - that's where you're supposed to be. It is with a small amount of trepidation overshadowed by the excitement of doing something new and different that we (and by we, I mean Karen, for the most part) will be purchasing and running Scrapbook Oasis.

After all these years of having people tell her that she should do something with her design skills we are doing just that. On or about November 1st (depending on the formalities) we will be the new owners of the store and Karen will join the ranks of "the man".
