Happy Anniversary. So I'm now at the point when I can throw around the phrase "10 years ago..." Sometimes I still can't get over the fact that I've been divorced for a decade, out of college for 13 and out of high school for 19 - can someone say 20 year reunion?

So in the process of looking back at where I've been I was surprised today to find out that one of my favorite albums of the '80s has turned 20. For those of you who remember the New Wave period of the late '80s maybe there's a space in your CD collection being taken up by "Cupid and Psyche '85" by Scritti Politti...



Many of you will remember hearing "Perfect Way" over the airwaves but I think the real gems of the album are "Wood Beez" and "Hypnotize". If you don't remember, take a chance on a couple songs from the iTunes Music store or your local used CD bin at your favorite music shop. For those of you who own this piece of history, shake the dust off and enjoy a listen or two.
