Techno 101 . Ishkur's Guide to Electronic Music

Just keep swimming... Those of you who know my wife know that she loves any aquatic sport - especially those that allow her to spend time under water. After many years of trying to get us scuba certified she finally succeeded and as of yesterday we are PADI certified as open water divers. It has been exciting, tiring and sometimes a bit disconcerting - the experience continues to get better each time we go out and I forsee many a trip in our future. Though we have separate goals (Karen would like to get her underwater photography cert and we both want to get our advanced and rescue certs) we now have one more thing that we can share and experience with our children. We couldn't have asked for a better teacher and we had fun because we were able to get certified with a group of friends who "took the plunge" with us. All in all, it has been a great learning experience and for those of you who are curious about it I recommend that you try it. There are so many wonderful things to see both locally along our coast as well as the shores of Catalina Island. Plus, you also have the ability to dive resorts and see some incredible things and do it in much warmer water. In any case, our weekends are free again so we're going to spend some time putting some paint on our walls at home so we can start putting up our artwork and pictures. We've delayed a little of our the finishing touches at home so we're looking forward to getting them done...

Live or Memorex? I guess there is no extent to which the internet community will push boundaries. I don't exactly know what you would do with this type of relationship but if it has your name written all over it - so be it. You thought the real thing was hard to manage? Maybe this alternative is a good starting point...

Caddyshack. I saw this commercial the other night and it brought back memories of the movie and my age at the time it was released. Never really understanding what the hype surrounding the film (mostly because I wasn't able to go to movies back then), I did come to enjoy it later on in life. I don't know that I'd call it "a classic" but it is rather funny. This is just another indicator that my generation is in control of the media...
