Who knew? I never thought I'd see the day when someone like Kodak would move away from film and focus on digital photography. Is digital that much popular? The trend really surprises me because as far as I know it takes a really technically saavy user to enjoy the full impact of taking, storing, printing and e-mailing digital pics to friends and families. I guess this signals the beginning of the future where everyone knows about resolution, aspect ratio and why you need to shrink pictures over 2.1MP in order to send them over e-mail... Or maybe its just another way to further confuse and frustrate the consumer. Either way I guess I can call it "job security".
I'm in love. and her name is Carrera GT...
Enjoy. Great commercials including the one for the new Volkswagen Phaeton (Choose commercials and then pick Malcolm Venville)
Misunderstood. Nothing with Michael Jackson has ever been easy to understand. If we were to believe his own press we would behold a product of a troubled childhood and an oppressive father. Does MJ really expect us all to accept the fact that he's just a "little off". About the only problem I see is that no one in his inner circle or management team has ever thought to stand up and say "um, Michael - I don't think the crotch grabbing thing is a good idea..." Who knows, now as we watch the media circus and public scrutiny spin out of control you really have to wonder. Where were his fans when his latest CD was tanking? You'd think instead of a "love bus" to the courthouse they'd organize a trip to your local Tower Records and help keep the self-dubbed King of Pop in his diamond socks and band-aid finger caps...

Nature's Super Glue. I didn't realize that we were after the secrets of the mussel's sticking ability although I am aware that we still don't have a good idea about spider webbing. Apparently we are now discovering the secrets of the mussel's "super glue". Its an interesting article and definitely worth skimming.

Life, Unscripted. The past month has been nothing less than a whirlwhind. There has been a seemingly endless amount of outings and preparations and this is the first day that I've had with nothing to do - its a little weird because I'm feeling like I'm forgetting something important. In any case, Karen and I are what we're officially calling 70% "moved in". Most of the boxes have been emptied and sorted, with the remainder of them neatly organized in the garage. We're settling into our new routines and even Daisy is finally making our new house her home. The holidays now seem a distant memory and I can't believe that we're mid-way into our second 6 day vacation. The time seems to slip by even before you notice that its gone...
For now, we look forward to the new year and hope that resolutions will last longer than it takes to think of them. For me, this will be the 35th year of my life and for whatever reason I have a feeling that it will be a good year. I'm looking forward to the new year and hope that it brings small and subtle changes that both Karen and I will enjoy and remember.
I hope that all of you had a great holiday season this past year and we wish you all the best new year possible. Make your life your own and move on without regrets. 2004 may surprise us all...
